Collar sizing, unfortunately, is not universal across the board so please read before ordering so the correct size can be ordered. 。The best way to make sure you do not have to return your collar for a different size and not fall into the trap of ordering a collar that is too large or too small is to measure your dog's neck. Here is the best way to go about this. 。1. Measure your dog's neck snugly but not tight. The best method of measurement is to use a fabric measuring tape (or some kind of material that can be measured with a tape measure such as a string or shoelace). If you can slide 2 fingers in between the measuring tape and your dog's neck then it is perfect. That will allow some room for adjustment without being overly tight. If you are pinching their neck or cannot fit even one finger then it is way too tight. The size of the collar will be from the leather where the peg is to the center adjustment hole from which you will have 1 1/2" of adjustment up and down. If you have a young dog then please contact us as you will need to buy with room for growth in mind.。 *Please do not measure your dog's old collar as this often will lead to the wrong size being purchased.。
